New Features:

New Feature 6.0.0.1: My Content: Ability to Combine Assessments

• Teachers can now select two or more ExperTrack Assessments, Vocabulary Quizzes, or Custom Assessments to combine into one assessment using the My Content feature.  This feature can be used to create unit assessments by combining all the Gallopade pre-built chapter or lesson ExperTrack Checkpoints into one test.  Once multiple tests are combined, teachers will have the ability to add or remove questions on Step 4 of the Edit Assessment screens. 

New Feature 6.0.0.2: New Option Added to the Gradebook: View Student Work and Monitor Progress Before an Assignment is Submitted

• A new View option has been added to the assignment management options in the Gradebook for assignments that have been started and not graded.  
• Selecting View from the Assignment Title Menu or from an individual student's cell takes the user to the Selected Student tab of the Grading screens.  Before the assignment is submitted, teachers and administrators will be able to see a live view of the students' work on an assignment.  

 Enhancements:

Enhancement 6.0.0.1: Selected Student Tab: Navigation Tools Moved to the Bottom of the Screen

• When reviewing an individual student's work on the Selected Student tab of the Grading Screens, teachers will now be able to select a different page without having to scroll back to the top of the screen. 

Enhancement 6.0.0.2: Improved Student View of Assignment Review Option: Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers

• When students review an auto-graded assignment, with the Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers option selected by the teacher, they will notice new labels identifying their answer selection on top and the correct answer on the bottom of the question screen.

Enhancement 6.0.0.3: The Green Submit Button Moved on Submit as Completed Pop-Up for Students

• The green Submit button has been moved to above the comment text box on the Submit as Completed pop-up when students confirm they want to submit their assignment.  This enhancement was made to improve the assignment submission process for students using smaller devices. 

Enhancement 6.0.0.4: Read Aloud and Translate Feature with Interactive Resources Improved

• Within Interactive Resources such as Digital Student Book, ExperTrack, or Vocabulary Quiz, users can now just highlight the selected text to be read aloud or translated and select the desired option from the pop-up menu.  

Enhancement 6.0.0.5: Default View of Text Box in Extended Text Response Questions

• The default size of the text box for extended text response questions has been expanded to 4 lines long.  The text box will continue to expand as the user types and it can still be expanded by clicking and dragging the bottom right corner.  

Enhancement 6.0.0.6: Teacher and Administrator Annotations and Highlights Now Save in PDF Type of Resources

• Any annotations or highlights added by a teacher or administrator while viewing a PDF resource, such as the eBook or a Study Guide, will now save for the user's view only in their course each time the resource is viewed until the annotations or highlights are deleted by the user.

Enhancement 6.0.0.7: Overview Screen defaults for Students Reviewing PDF Type of Assignment

• When students review a PDF type of assignment, such as a Study Guide or Graphic Organizer, they will immediately view the Overview screen with their score and any teacher comments listed.  To review the document and any added annotations, students will select Close Overview.  To exit the review, students will select Close Review on the top right.  

Bug Fixes:

Bug Fix 6.0.0.1: Speech to Text Tool on Extended Response Questions

• A bug was reported that using the speech to text tool would cause text to appear twice in the text box of an extended response question.  This has been resolved.  

Bug Fix 6.0.0.2: Edit Assignment Screen: Student List Order

• The Student List on the Assignment Edit screen is now listed in alphabetical order by last name and the order of the list of students will no longer change base on edits.

Bug Fix 6.0.0.3: My Courses Widget Updating with Class Drop-Down on Dashboard

• The My Courses widget correctly updates with the selected class in the drop down on the top of the teacher or administrator dashboard.

Bug Fix 6.0.0.4: Announcements Auto-Appearing Beyond the End Date

• Announcements will only auto-display to the recipient until the end date and time set in the announcement settings. After the end date and time occurs the announcement will continue to display in the Notifications Inbox until the reader archives or deletes the announcement.

Bug Fix 6.0.0.5: My Content: Assignment Titles of Copied Assignments Not Displaying Correctly

• For assignments created for a copied assessment within the My Content feature, the assignment title set in the Assign modal will be the assignment title that will appear in the teacher's Gradebook and for students. 

 Bug Fix 6.0.0.6: Student Annotations and Highlights Saving in Student eBook

• All annotations and highlights added by the student in their personal copy of the Student eBook will save for their personal viewing within their Gallopade Online account.
