New Features:

New Feature 5.0.3.1 Announcements

• The Gallopade Online Platform now has an Announcements feature.  This feature can be used to alert Gallopade users of new features created by the Gallopade Team or be utilized by Administrators and Teachers to alert users of important information such as assessment due dates.
• To access Notifications, select the Speech Bubble icon on the top right of the dashboard. 

• The pop-up Notifications modal will provide a quick snapshot of announcements.  Select View All to be able to view the Inbox, Read announcements, and Archived announcements.

• To create a new notification, select the + at the top right of the pop-up modal or +Add from the Notification feature. 

New Feature 5.0.3.2 Standards Mastery Overview Report

• The Standards Mastery Overview Report displays students' mastery of assigned standards.  This class report can be filtered by date range, assignment type, assignment category, standard, and by student.  

New Feature 5.0.3.3 New Functionality for Administrators' Gradebook Access

• Administrators can now edit, unsubmit, delete, and grade assignments within the Gradebook to support teachers. 

New Feature 5.0.3.4 New Assignment Review Option for Autograded Assignments: Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers

• The Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers option now allows students to view the correct answer (for auto-scored questions) and their submitted response at the same time!
  • The question display at the top is the correct answer, the question display at the bottom is the student's submitted answer.

New Feature 5.0.3.5 Magnify and Font Size Tools Added to Interactive Resource Types

• The Magnify and Font Size Tools have been added to the right side toolbar of interactive resources such as Digital Student Books, ExperTrack Assessments, and Vocabulary Quizzes.  Users can select the tool from the toolbar then select the option from the pop-up menu to adjust the view of the screen.

Enhancement 5.0.3.1 Assignment Review Options Renamed

• The 4 assignment review options have been renamed based on teacher feedback to help identify the best option for your students.

• Review Not Available
• Review Submission
  • Only allows students to review the answers they submitted.

• Review Graded Submission
  • Allows students to see which answer submissions are correct or incorrect.
  • Correct answers for incorrect questions are not displayed.

• Review Graded Submission with Correct Answers
  • Students can review their answer selections and the correct answers.
  • The question and answer key display at the top is the correct answer, the question and answer displayed at the bottom of the screen is the student's submitted answer.

Enhancement 5.0.3.2 New Icons for Custom Assessments created in the My Content feature

• New icons have been added to help users distinguish between Gallopade created assessments, copied assessments, and custom assessments. 

Enhancement 5.0.3.3 My Content: Add New Assessment Process Improved

• Steps 3 and 4 have been renamed to help guide users through the process of building a new assessment.

• A Save and Preview button have been added to Steps 3 and 4, so users do not have to travel to Step 5 to Preview. 

• Step 3: Pressing Add Selected does not take users directly to Step 4, instead a green alert will display adding the selected questions and allows users to continue adding questions.  Now select Next to go to Step 4. 

• Step 4 now has a Preview option for each question in the ellipse menu.

Enhancement 5.0.3.4 My Content: Copy Existing Assessment Process Improved

• Now after naming the assessment copy, users will go directly to Step 4 to view the list of questions/pages copied from the original assessment with the ability to Preview or Delete using the ellipse menu.

Enhancement 5.0.3.5 Gradebook

• Selecting Grade on an individual student's cell in the Gradebook, will take users to that specific student's submission on the Grading tab to score.

• Hover overs have been added to display how many points the student earned vs. how many total points were available for the assignment.

• The Sort By option is now a drop-down menu with three options to sort the Gradebook: Start Date, Due Date, Title.

• The ability to print blank copies of ExperTrack Assessments, Vocabulary Quizzes, or PDF assignments from the Gradebook is now available from the assignment management options accessed by selecting the assignment title.

Enhancement 5.0.3.6 Assignment Summary Tab: 

• Teachers can now see the date and time a student submits their assignment.

• The total amount of points the assignment is worth is now displayed in the Assignment Summary section.

Enhancement 5.0.3.7 Students Can Now View Teacher Comments on Graded PDF Type of Assignments

• If teachers add comments during the grading process of PDF assignments and allow students to review their submission, they will be able to select Overview on the top right of the screen to view their score and any teacher comments.

Bug Fixes:

Bug Fix 5.0.3.1 My Content: Ability to Print Custom Assessments Returned

• This functionality was temporarily disabled.  Users can now select Preview from the ellipse menu of a custom assessment, then select Print from the toolbar on the right. 

Bug Fix 5.0.3.2 Assignment Grading Tab:

• When scoring teacher-graded questions, the submissions will not automatically default to the first student when pressing Submit.

Bug Fix 5.0.3.3 Editing Assignments

• Teachers and Administrators should now be able to edit assignments globally and for students in bulk or individually.
